Earthcycle’s Perfect World (Our Vision)

In our perfect world packaging would never be garbage. When it finished its job protecting and displaying the purchased products, the packaging would continue its useful life or cycle back to its source, never losing value in the process.

When making purchasing decisions in this wonderful world, people would think about the impacts those decisions have on the ecosystem that sustains them.

For example, Grandma would buy the toy train in the compostable box for Junior’s birthday, knowing that her environmentally-conscious choice contributes to making her grandson's future world an even better place. And Junior's choice would be the organic strawberries in the Earthcycle Packaging for Mother’s Day Brunch, showing Grandma he’s learned from her nature-friendly example. Each small purchasing – and packaging – decision made in Earthcycle's perfect world ensures a planet we’d be proud to hand off to future generations.

How Earthcycle Will Help Get Us There (Our Mission)

Provide Options
Not only are our products fully compostable (they cycle back to earth when finished, just like in our perfect world above), they are made through innovation that allows us to make use of a former waste product – palm fiber – in their creation.
We design packaging to meet the needs of growers, food packers, retailers, food service establishments and consumers while protecting the natural world that sustains us.

Provide Information
If we expect our customers to make responsible purchasing decisions, part of our job must be to provide them with the necessary tools to understand how they can make responsible purchasing decisions. Earthcycle's mission is to help unravel the myth that influences packaging choices by continuing to provide information and access to resources, allowing customers to purchase responsibly.

Walk the Talk
At Earthcycle we are in the process of assessing our Corporate Responsibility with the help of Canadian Business for Social Responsibility’s GoodCompany Guidelines.

These Guidelines provide a disciplined approach to assessing our impacts and developing benchmarks to measure our performance. The results of our efforts will be expressed here on these pages. We hope you will be patient with us while we are making sure we can walk the talk with our heads held high!
