OK, here’s the thing. We’re a consumer society on steroids. Almost everything we buy – and that’s a heck of a lot of stuff – is packaged. And how much of that actually gets recycled? Lots, right? Unfortunately not. In this section of our website we’d like to introduce you to some little known facts about packaging and the materials that most of it is made of.

We’re not trying to freak you out. And we don’t expect you to stop shopping. And we certainly understand the need for packaging (why else would we be in this business?). But we think it’s time for a reality check, time to unravel the fabric of myth that has kept us all comfortable with our current packaging practices. It’s time to accept the impacts we have on the planet that sustains us and make some responsible choices that will help protect the future for the kids of tomorrow.
